The Berlin International Spirits Awards stands as a beacon of excellence in the spirits industry, recognising outstanding quality and craftsmanship across various categories.
The 5 Year Old Single Pot Still Whiskey represents a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. This exceptional pot still whiskey is composed of a unique mash ratio of 66:33 malted versus unmalted barley. The mash is then distilled in our Rocket Still and it is then matured in First Fill Ex Bourbon Casks and then after 5 patient years bottled at 43%
Meanwhile, the 7 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey epitomises the distillery’s commitment to quality and authenticity. Aged to perfection, this whiskey uses exclusively 100% local Irish grain and is also matured in Bodega Olorosso casks for a period of 4 years then further aged in first fill Bourbon Barrels for another 3 years. After patiently waiting for 7 years it is bottled at 46%.
These gold medals not only signify the exceptional quality of West Cork Whiskey but also serve as a testament to the unwavering dedication and passion of the entire team behind the brand. From the sourcing of the finest ingredients to the meticulous crafting process, every step is undertaken with the utmost care and attention to detail, resulting in whiskies that are truly deserving of international acclaim.
